Element Optics Helix HDLR 2-16x50 SFP APR-1C Riflescope

Element Optics scopes go through one of the most rigorous tests in the industry on .50 BMG rifles and over 15,000J before they are deemed worthy of the Element Optics name. Riflescopes go beyond the standard when it comes to aspects such as water resistance, shock resistance, return to zero tests, and recoil simulation.

Construction

The riflescopes are made on precise CNC machines. The reinforced 30mm tube is made of one piece of 6061 - T6 aircraft aluminum, which guarantees resistance to recoil, corrosion, mechanical damage, and scratches.

The length of the scope is 340 mm and the weight is 770 grams, which means that it does not significantly increase the weight of the PCP carbine or the firearm on which it is mounted.

Innovative adjustment turrets work smoothly, thanks to which we will be able to zero our riflescope without any problems even in difficult conditions, the clicks are very noticeable and audible, which is a great joy for shooters who like a lot of settings (a lot of turning) using turrets. They are equipped with durable internal elements made of stainless steel, allowing us to constantly adjust them because they are often used in most shooting disciplines and difficult weather conditions.

Turret adjustment is up to 29MRAD (100MOA) (up, down) and 13MRAD (45MOA) (right, left).

The scope uses a quick zeroing system that allows you to quickly return to the initial settings. For shooters, this means that they can make various types of corrections in all planes and allows them to easily return to the zero point at any time. You can also remove the zero-stop system by unscrewing the three Allen screws (keys are included).

Screwing in the Throw Lever on the eyepiece allows the user to change the riflescope's zoom very quickly, which is especially important in sports shooting and hunting.

Lenses

Element Optics HDLR was created specifically for hunters. It was created from scratch so that you can shoot at dawn and dusk, it has a small two-time zoom, and it is perfect for using various types of night vision and thermal imaging attachments.

In terms of optical parameters, the scope will be very similar to the Titan scope, as they have the same glass quality, similar chemical composition of the objective elements, and the same number of lenses. This improved optical performance allows the scope to elevate the scope above other scopes in the Helix series, as both the Helix 4-16x and 6-24 have 4x zoom optical systems while the Helix HDLR has an 8x zoom system.

This optical system means you can magnify more without seeing optical imperfections, allowing the scope to go from 2x to 16x magnification extremely smoothly, and you will notice the improved optical system immediately when you look through the scope.

The scope has a reticle in the SFP secondary plane because most hunters love working and shooting on this reticle.

HELIX HDLR SFP APR-1C has reticles in the second plane (SFP Secend Focus Plane) because it is a straight reticle that hunters like very much. The very simple cross-designed in the Helix HDLR scope allows for very accurate shooting at distances of 100, 200, and even 500 meters.

This scope has an illuminated reticle with 6 settings, and only the point in the center of the reticle is illuminated, as it is one of the most popular reticles among hunters.

Metricity in MRAD

HELIX HD RAPTR-1 MRAD has the metric system adjustment expressed in MRAD. Thanks to such a system, conversion and corrections become much simpler and less complicated than adjustments in MOA. The 0.1 MRAD drum click moves the reticle by 1 cm per 100 m. Due to the ease of use of the MRAD unit, it is preferred by most long-shot shooters, it is a standard in military optics, and is much more often used by people from Europe.
