Construction
The AEA SF pneumatic air rifle is made in 3 models:
- AEA SF COMPACT with a barrel length of 10" (25.4cm) and a 255cc cartridge
- AEA SF STANDARD with a barrel length of 13" (33.1cm) and a 330cc cartridge
- AEA SF SNIPER with a barrel length of 18" (45.7cm) and a 330cc cartridge
The AEA SF Standard air rifle is a compact carbine that can easily fit into a backpack thanks to the screw-on and foldable stock.
The AEA carbine on the right side has a switch thanks to which we can choose which system we want to shoot with. On the left side, there is a switch that allows us to lock the pusher, making it easier to insert and remove the magazine.
The AEA Standard air rifle is 88 cm long, after folding the stock the length is reduced to 60 cm, so our rifle is shortened by almost 30 cm. The weight of the carbine is 2.4 kg. This structure and weight of the carabiner make it handy and universal.
Barrel
The barrel is 13 inches (33.1 cm) long and is embedded in a barrel cover with special partitions designed to silence shots. At the end of the barrel cover, it is possible to screw on a special adapter from DonnyFL, to which we can additionally attach a silencer with a 1/2 UNF thread. This barrel is ideally suited for shooting pellets and SLUG bullets.
Cartouche and Regulator
The carabiner is equipped with a tank with a capacity of 330cc and a maximum working pressure of 310 Bar. The carabiner is additionally equipped with a regulator that is adjusted from the outside. We can lower and increase the pressure on the regulator with a filled cartridge up to 310 Bar. This construction of the regulator allows us to adjust the best parameters for individual shooting. When we want more shots, we lower the pressure on the regulator, and when we want more energy, we need to increase the pressure on the regulator.
The two pressure gauges installed in the cartridge are pressure gauges showing the pressure in the cartridge and on the regulator.
The first pressure gauge, at the bottom of the cartridge (built in a plastic cover), indicates the pressure on the cartridge (maximum pressure 310Bar)
The second pressure gauge, at the bottom of the cartridge, closer to the trigger, is responsible for indicating the pressure on the regulator and is set from 80 to 170 Bar. As the pressure on the regulator increases, the muzzle velocity and energy of the air gun increase.
The pressure regulator, which is controlled externally, allows us to change the pressure without the need to unscrew the carabiner or release the pressure from the cartridge.
The Allen screw, which is located under the cartridge and the pressure gauge above it, is a screw that allows you to change the pressure on the regulator.
1. Increasing the pressure on the regulator is done by slowly turning the screw from left to right, you will see an increasing pressure on the pressure gauge from the regulator and a quiet hissing sound.
2. 1. Reducing the pressure on the regulator is done by slowly turning the screw from right to left. Please remember that we will not see the readings on the pressure gauge immediately!!! After lowering the pressure, you need to shoot "dry" a few times (without pellets) so that our regulator and the O-rings inside the regulator are in place. After a few shots, you will see a reduced value on the pressure gauge, if it is insufficient, repeat the action.
It is very important that when lowering and increasing the pressure on the regulator, you do it slowly and do not turn the screw too aggressively.
The set includes a charging tip with a quick connector with a diameter of 8mm.
Rail
The AEA SF model is equipped with an 11mm Dovetail rail, thanks to which we can mount a scope or a collimator that will enable quick, accurate shots. This carbine has a bipod rail, which is located approximately halfway down the cartridge, thanks to which we can install various types of bipods.

Magazines for AEA carbines are self-indexing so that the entire semi-automatic system works flawlessly. Depending on the caliber, we have different magazine capacities.
