Element Optics Nexus 5-20X50 EHR-1D FFP MOA Riflescope

The word "NEXUS" means "central point" and that is exactly what this model in the Element Optics range of hunting riflescopes is.

Nexus combines intuitive features such as tool-free tactical turrets, zero point settings, and a variety of reticle designs in both MOA and MRAD combined with precision engineering and incredible precision craftsmanship to build one of the best scopes in the world.

Element Optics scopes go through one of the most rigorous tests in the industry on .50 BMG rifles and over 15,000J before they are deemed worthy of the Element Optics name. Riflescopes go beyond the standard when it comes to aspects such as water resistance, shock resistance, return to zero tests, and recoil simulation.

Construction

The riflescopes are made on precise CNC machines. The reinforced 30mm tube is made of one piece, and the best quality aircraft aluminum material guarantees resistance to recoil, corrosion, mechanical damage, and scratches.

The first thing you notice is the compactness of the scope. The length of the scope is 350 mm and the weight is 794 grams, which means that it does not significantly increase the weight of the PCP carbine or the firearm on which it is mounted, so long walks and hunting will not be a burden.

Innovative adjustment turrets work smoothly, thanks to which we will be able to zero our riflescope without any problems even in difficult conditions. They are equipped with durable internal elements made of stainless steel, allowing us to constantly adjust them because they are often used in most shooting disciplines and difficult weather conditions.

Turret adjustment is up to 80MOA (up, down) and 50MOA (right, left).

Manufacturing the turrets with low tolerances means that the system will not move at all and there will be no so-called relaxations from the settings (deviations). Even when it seems that the knob (turret) is moving slightly, there is no possibility for the system to overlap and change its position, it is very precisely made.

The scope uses a quick zero system that allows you to quickly return to the initial settings. For shooters, this means that they can make various types of corrections in all planes and allows them to easily return to the zero point at any time. You can also remove the zero stop system by unscrewing the three Allen screws (keys are included)

Lenses

NEXUS has foreground meshes (FFP First Focus Plane), which causes the mesh to expand as you zoom in, so you don't have to do any mesh calculations. The mesh is calibrated at all types of approximations. The magnification range from 5x to 20x means that this riflescope will find many applications depending on the user's preferences.

This scope has an illuminated grid with 10 settings with a switch between them, so we can easily return to the desired setting. The illumination mode allows us to see the reticle in difficult conditions, so we can shoot with even greater precision.

The NEXUS version has 4 grids to adapt to all customers from different parts of the world. Two reticles are made in MOA and two in MRAD.

The nets have various types of crosses, either simple 1C or complex 1D.

Simple grids, i.e. 1C, are without any unnecessary reference points, lines, and markings that could distract us, intended mainly for people who like a clean and clear image.

Complex, i.e. 1D, reticles have various types of divisions, lines, and markings that will allow for even more precise shooting, intended mainly for people who like fast and precise shooting.

Metricity in MOA

NEXUS 5-20X50 EHR-1D FFP MOA has the metric system adjustment expressed in MOA.

The click of the 0.25 MOA drum moves the reticle 0.25" at 100 yards.
