6.8-liter carbon tank from Tuxing, made of HPA (High-Pressure Air) carbon fiber with a working pressure of 310 bar (4500psi) and an internal thread of M18x1.5.

Construction

Utilizing high-quality aluminum alloy AL6061, wrapped with carbon fiber and additionally encased in a total fiberglass sheath, all coated with epoxy resin, making the tank resistant to shocks, scratches, corrosion, and most importantly, capable of withstanding high pressures. The interior surface of the tank is made of a special material and specially polished to ensure gas purity.

Thanks to the use of a new carbon fiber composite developed, the tank's weight is reduced by 70% compared to steel tanks, has greater corrosion resistance, and is non-magnetic.

The tank has a capacity of 6.8 liters. Its height is 537mm, diameter 158mm, and weight is 3.8kg.

Testing

These tanks undergo rigorous testing due to high pressure.

• The first is a hydrostatic pressure test, where carbon fiber tanks can withstand up to 50MPa (500Bar).
• The second is the minimum burst pressure, which can reach 102MPa (1020Bar).

Thread

The tank features an M18x1.5 thread, which perfectly fits the TUXING TX15 adapter.
