Construction
AEA air rifles are renowned for their high-quality craftsmanship . Individual parts are CNC machined and mounted in a wooden stock, which is highly resistant to dents and scratches. The air rifle features a bullpup design, making it very compact and lightweight. Its overall length is only 89 cm . Weighing approximately 3.4 kg , it can be easily fired freehand or from a rest. The NOVA version is equipped with a 22 mm rail and a biathlon-style cocking handle.
Rail
The AEA carbine is equipped with a 22 mm Picatinny rail , thanks to which we can mount a scope or a collimator , which will enable quick and accurate shots.
Cartouche
The carabiner is equipped with a large cylinder with a capacity of 300cc and a maximum working pressure of 310 Bar. The NOVA version of the rifle features a pressure regulator, making it one of the most powerful rifles in its price range. AEA is renowned for producing the largest regulators on the global market. Installing the regulator allows for very stable shots, and thanks to the large cartridge, which can be filled to 310 bar, it allows for a greater number of shots with a consistent muzzle velocity.
Number of shots on one tank:
- 5.5mm (.22) - 50+ shots
- 6.35 mm (.25) - 45 shots
- 7.62 mm (.30) - 35 shots
- 9 mm (.35) - 25 shots
Initial speed adjustment
The Challenger Bullpup is equipped with a muzzle velocity adjustment wheel . The muzzle velocity adjustment wheel is located next to the magazine, and you can easily change the parameters by turning the wheel.
Barrel
The 24-inch ( 61 cm ) barrel is housed in a barrel shroud with special baffles designed to silence shots . A special adapter from DonnyFL can be attached to the end of the barrel shroud, allowing a silencer with a 1/2 UNF thread to be attached . This barrel is ideal for shooting pellets and slug-type projectiles.
barrel thread pitch :
- 1:17.7 for 5.5 mm and 6.35 mm caliber
- 1:16 for 7.62 mm caliber
Magazine
The magazines are carefully crafted to avoid damaging the pellet or slug during indexing. Magazine capacity varies depending on the caliber:
- 5.5 mm - 12 slots
- 6.35 mm - 10 slots
- 7.62 mm - 9 slots
- 9 mm - 8 slots
