BinTac T‑9 – Semi-Automatic PCP .35 (9mm)

The BinTac T‑9 is a semi-automatic, compact PCP rifle in caliber .35 (9 mm), which combines a short, handy design with high muzzle energy of approximately 135 J. The model is designed for users who require a fast sequence of shots and high power in an easy-to-carry format; with the stock folded, the overall length is reduced to approximately 42 cm, and the barrel is approximately 203 mm long, which provides excellent compactness without compromising performance.

Design and ergonomics:

The mostly aluminum body provides a solid construction, and the weight of approximately 3.6 kg provides a well-balanced, easy-to-handle system. The absence of a traditional, bulky stock and an ergonomic pistol grip improve control during rapid shooting, while the folding, adjustable stock with a QD sling adapter allows for customization to suit the user's height and preferences.

Power and performance:

A PCP system with a 250cc tank powered to a maximum of 310 bar (≈4500 PSI) generates a velocity of ~225 m/s (≈740–752 FPS) with heavier ~78–82 grain bullets, which translates to energy of approximately 135 J. The system is equipped with a Hot‑Swap function and an additional 125cc front tube, which allows for a quick replacement of the air source in the field and extends the continuity of use - the manufacturer and users report approximately 24+ shots with a full tank in the high power configuration, depending on the ammunition and settings used.

Mechanics and operation:

The semi-automatic mechanism, combined with a single-action trigger, ensures a short, predictable reset and the ability to quickly fire subsequent shots. Reloading is performed via a side lever, making it easier to operate during bursts. The top Picatinny rail provides a mount for optics – a scope or red dot sight can be mounted quickly and stably.

Damping and accessory compatibility:

There are solutions available for mounting a suppressor at the muzzle (often using a DonnyFL adapter); however, it's worth remembering that adding a moderator can affect semi-auto cycling. In practice, testing different moderators and bullet types yields the best results—a larger, oversized suppressor often works effectively.
